Everyone who has tried Nopalea agrees, it just tastes great and it serves up jaw dropping results when it comes to
fighting chronic inflammation. But, did you know that this breakthrough wellness drink contains a unique class of nutrients called Betalains? Betalains are Bioflavonoids in the Quercetin family.
A Bioflavonoid is a vitamin like substance that works in concert with antioxidants like Vitamin C. They are useful in helping us to make collagen so our skin looks young, and strengthening blood vessels so we don’t bruise easily. Bioflavonoids help us resist allergens and infection from bacteria and viruses. They also have anti-inflammatory properties.
Quercetins are founds in foods we eat every day such as apples and onions. They are important in medical science because high intake of Quercetins coating foods results in low incidence of cancer and heart disease.
Betalains are the orphaned ‘grandchildren’ of Quercetins. None of the plant species related in the development of Betalains have survived the test of time, they have all become extinct except for beets, Swiss Chard and Nopal fruit, plants that are not even ‘distant cousins’ in the world of fruits and vegetables.
However, all 24 known Betalains are very important for human health. It is especially true today because they are all anti-toxin and anti-inflammatory. Environmental experts report dramatic increases in disease producing toxins in air, water and soil. Toxins produce inflammation, and most of the diseases we face start with inflammation: Alzheimer’s, cancer, heart disease, etc.
Betalain content develops in response to the environment in which the plant grows. The more extreme the environment, the more protective Betalains the plant needs to produce in order to survive, and the more benefits we get when we consume the fruits and leaves of these plants.
So, while we get a few benefits from beets and rainbow Swiss Chard, we get the greatest benefit from the specific Nopal fruit of the Sonoran Desert because it contains all 24 known Betalains.

Have you ever walked down the cleaning aisle at the supermarket? What was your experience? I hate it! In fact, I completely avoid that aisle. If I need something, I hold my breath, quickly get what I need and beat a hasty retreat from that toxic soup.
The soaps, bleaches, softeners and fragrances in the cleaning aisle are all in sealed containers. Yet, they still give off an overwhelming, nauseating stench that may make a person sick for hours. What happens when we bring those containers home? They continue to give off toxins. Only now, the containers are open and the process happens 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Our toxic environment
In North America we are inundated with toxins every moment of every day. Pollution in our air, water and food challenges our ability to detoxify and adapt. Worse still, the place we think of as a haven from stress – our home – is likely the most toxic environment we face in our daily routines. Toxins released from household chemicals, fabric, carpet, fragrances and pesticides seep into our body in tiny amounts even as we sleep.
Toxic waste, like barnacles on the hull of a ship, drags us down. It slows the efficiency of our mitochondria (the energy-producing engines inside our cells). Noxious chemicals create fatigue, headaches, digestive disturbances and moodiness. Eventually, toxins become the focus for inflammation.
Inflammation
Your body uses acute inflammation to try to neutralize toxicity. Think of your reaction to a bee sting: redness, swelling, heat and pain. This is not caused by the toxins in the bee venom. It is the reaction of your body as it tries to eliminate the toxicity:
• Redness is the increase in blood supply to bring in immune system antibodies and remove the neutralized venom.
• Swelling is the lymphatic fluid that dilutes the concentrated poison while providing proteins for repair of the tissue damaged by the toxins.
• Heat comes from immune system activity as it battles the invading contaminant.
• Pain causes us to guard that area from further damage.
Chronic inflammation occurs when the toxins are not completely removed from an area. A good example of this may be found in simple lawn chemicals, like fertilizers and pesticides. Certain fertilizers are potassium-based. Potassium is important for human health. When we are exposed to these fertilizers, our cells may accept the potassium along with the toxic “attachments.” Your immune system will constantly attack these contaminated cells until it destroys them. Clusters of diseases like Parkinson’s disease and multiple sclerosis have been linked to these fertilizers.
Home sweet home – isolate and insulate
Neutralizing toxins in the body begins with isolating ourselves from chemical exposure. We must be diligent if we are to protect our family from toxic overload. Chemicals should be stored out of the living area in a place that is well-ventilated. This is especially true if there are children in the home, as developing brains are up to 10 times more likely to suffer damage from toxins than an adult nervous system.
Insulating ourselves against toxic exposure is equally important. Two nutrient classes shine when it comes to protection from pollution:
• Essential fatty acids – Many of the toxins we face are fat-soluble. We need “clean” fats in abundance to displace toxic fats in our brain, liver and other regions of our body.
• Antioxidants – Antioxidants neutralize toxins and Betalain antioxidants found in Nopal figs have two added benefits over standard antioxidants:
o Betalains drain away the toxin from an affected area
o Betalains shore up the cell membrane to help promote healing.
Betalains turn out to be our best tool in combating the causes of inflammation: toxins, stress, injury and nutrient deficiency. Use this excellent tool liberally to help you resist the increasing onslaught of toxins both inside and outside of our home sweet home!

I have had many people asking me questions about Nopalea. If you’ve read the information I have on this blog, you’ll see the health benefits but I want to address some of the key questions that continue to come up that I haven’t answered in this blog.
What does the name Nopalea mean?
The name is derived from the word “Nopal.” This is a type of cactus found in the Sonoran Desert and known for its antioxidant-rich healing properties. The Nopal cactus fruit is the key ingredient in Nopalea.
What type of fruit is the Nopalea juice made from?
The Nopal cactus fruit is key ingredient in Nopalea. The fruit is carefully harvested from the Sonoran Desert, using sustainable wildcrafting techniques that the native Sonorans have used for thousands of years.
What makes Nopalea so unique?
Nopalea contains a rare and potent class of antioxidants called betalains. Of all the known sources for betalains, the Nopal cactus fruit supplies some of the highest amounts found in all of nature.
How is Nopalea different from other Superfruit concentrates products?
While many superfruit liquid wellness concentrates are available today such as Noni, Mangosteen, and Acai, Nopalea is made from the purest and freshest Opuntia Ficus Indica (Nopal) cactus that produces a antioxidant rich Superfruit. This powerful Superfruit is unique in that it contains a rare class of Antioxidant called Betalain. The Betalain antioxidant is scientifically studied and proven to help the body detoxify itself from harmful environmental toxins which help reduce and protect against inflammation. Inflammation is now considered the number one precursor to dangerous and life threatening disease.
With so many Superfruit products available why should I use an Opuntia Ficus Indica (Nopal) product over an Acai, Noni or Mangosteen product?
There are many superfruits available and they all contain antioxidants to help slow the aging process and fight free radicals. However, none of them have the clinical research that Opuntia Ficus Indica does on helping the body detoxify and reduce inflammation. Because science has proven inflammation is a serious cause for disease Opuntia Ficus Indica could be a more prudent selection.
What are betalains?
Betalains are a rare and potent class of antioxidants found in extremely high, concentrated levels in the Nopal cactus fruit. When you drink Nopalea, you take these betalains directly into your system, where they work on the cellular level to restore your vitality.
Scientific research shows that the betalains found in the Nopal cactus fruit can help to detoxify your body, eliminating the poisons we encounter every day. Betalains also help the body reduce inflammation, protecting you from a wide variety of disorders.
How else can I get Betalain antioxidants in my diet?
There are 24 types of Betalains known to science each one having a different function. Beets contain up to 6 of the 24 Betalains; Rainbow Swiss chard contains 12 Betalains. Nopal fruit can contain up to all 24 Betalain types, especially the Opuntia Ficus Indica Nopal fruit from the Sonora Desert. There are many species of Nopal that grow around the world. Opuntia Ficus Indica thrives in the extreme environment of the Sonora Desert and when wild-harvested at the peak of ripeness can contain all 24 Betalain types.
How is the Betalain antioxidant different from other Superfruit antioxidants?
Betalains are a protein-bound antioxidant that does more than help slow aging. Betalain antioxidants can help the body reduce inflammation, detoxify the cell and restore the balance between the inside and outside of the cell for optimal cellular function. While many antioxidants have been claimed to have different health benefits, the Betalain antioxidant is specifically studied to help the body reduce inflammation on a measurable and therapeutic level. Multiple studies show that Betalain antioxidants can help the human cell detoxify and remove unwanted and dangerous toxins which help reduce inflammation.
But the best way to find out more about Nopalea is to try it. Not only is it good for you but it tastes good.
Try Nopalea and see how it can help you and if you’d like to find out how you can also earn $500 to $2,000 by sharing Nopalea, call me on 856-264-7802 or go HERE to find out more.

As you find out more about Nopalea, you’ll see many people are emphasizing how the product has been scientifically proven to reduce inflammation. Inflammation is the root of many chronic diseases and people have been receiving results within weeks. It has been tremendous to hear how they no longer have pain or have more mobility and the fantastic testimonials are from both affiliates AND customers. With customers, they don’t have a business built upon the product. They’re just taking the product because it has helped them.
However, there are many other health benefits you get with Nopalea from protecting against pre-aging to optimal cellular health to detoxifying the body and more. I wanted to focus this blog on detoxification because this is something everyone can benefit from especially in today’s society.
Why detoxify?
In the last 200 years, we have drastically changed our environment. In today’s world, millions of pounds of chemicals are released into our air, water, food, and soil every year. We live in an environment in which we are exposed to thousands of toxic chemicals daily-industrial poisions, chemical fertilizers, pesticides, radiation, auto pollution, and drugs to name a few. “Two hundred twelve million pounds of hazardous waste is generated every day in the US and more than 55,000 synthetic chemicals are now in regular production,” states Sara Shannon, author of Good Health In A Toxic World (Warner Books, 1994).
To add insult upon injury, in this fast paced world, more and more people are eating processed food because it’s easy to cook and people don’t have time for healthy food. For most people our diet is lacking in enough fiber, fruits and vegetables. Think about it . . . how many fruits and vegetables did you eat today?
Toxins and pollutants are difficult or impossible for our bodies to break down. Some can take months or years to acculumate to a level which reflects in outward signs of damage to the immune system resulting in disease and illness.
Nopalea combines its betalains with other anti-toxic ingredients to combat these poisons where they strike us first: right inside the trillions of cells in our bodies.
By increasing the activity of CYP-2E1, a special enzyme that neutralizes daily toxins, Nopalea protects your cells and vital organs—especially your liver—against the carcinogens, hormone disruptors, respiratory toxins, developmental toxins and neurotoxins that are responsible for one-quarter of all the world’s diseases.
The power of Nopalea is in the betalains. Because the Nopal cactus in the Sonora Desert is exposed to extreme environments, nature forces all 24 betalains to be produced to protect itself. Betalains are one of the most powerful antioxidants known to mankind and these antioxidants are located in the Nopal cactus. Betalains contain six times the antioxidant strength of its nearest plant rival worldwide. The intriguing thing about betalains is that through scientific analysis they are able to see the physical results at the cell level using blood screening when injecting the betalains into good and unhealthy blood. They see immediately how the betalains attack the toxins and reduced the inflammation in the diseased blood cells. No other scientific research is available using this method to test the affects of antioxidants at the cell level, because other nutraceuticals do not work at the cell level so there is no way to test them using this research method.

My Nopalea story may not be as earth shattering as many of the stories I am hearing, like many people getting relief from fibromyalgia. That is exciting and groundbreaking news, especially for those who suffer from that painful and chronic condition.
My story starts in October of 2008, when I was on a fishing trip I injured my right shoulder in a boating incident. The Maurice River in southern New Jersey is a particularly fast moving tidal river, when the tide starts to run out to the Delaware Bay it is fast and furious, making boating a little tricky. Not being very experienced, it was left to me to tie the bow of the boat to the dock while we got fuel. The tide was really running out at full speed and I didn’t do such a great job tying the bow of the boat to the dock. I looked over and saw the bow of the boat begin to pull away from the dock, this was a 30 foot boat so when it started to move with the current it became a considerable force. I ran over to the edge of the dock, the line was already in the water, so I grabbed the bow rail and tried to pull the boat back to the dock. Instead the boat started to pull me into the fast moving river. At that point I couldn’t let go or I would fall into the fast moving current and most certainly drown. I called for my friend to grab me around the waist, luckily he did and I am here to tell the story. What did happen is I hyper extended my right shoulder pulling the boat back to the dock with the help of my friend pulling me by the waist.
I could not get any long term relief from the pain in my shoulder. Ibuprofen only lasted a couple of hours at a time and you just can’t take that much Ibuprofen and remain in good health. It was extremely painful just to wash my hair in the shower, I had to put my elbow against the shower wall to keep my arm up long enough to complete washing my hair. My first bottle of Nopalea arrived in April of this year. By that time I was unable to lift my arm above mid torso without severe pain. After a few days of using Nopalea I started to feel some relief, I figured it could just be a coincidence, maybe I just wasn’t moving it in the wrong directions lately. After about ten days after I started drinking Nopalea I noticed a significant improvement, I could wash my hair without pain, Still not totally convinced I waited a little longer before telling anyone. Finally I was ready to testify, three weeks after starting to drink a couple of ounces of Nopalea everyday, my pain was completely gone. My shoulder still clicks when I move it above my head, but there is no pain.
If you knew me you would understand the significance of me, telling this story. When I first started hearing the testimonies of my fellow TriVita associates I was beginning to wonder what I was thinking when I decided to place my future and retirement plans in TriVita. When I decided to join TriVita and work this business it seemed like a logical and sound decision on my part, the business model was logical and unique, you can’t beat TriVita’s cooperative marketing business model. Now it was beginning to sound more like a cult, I was beginning to second guess my decision and started to wonder what I was going to do now. I was in fear of losing everything I had invested and worse than that losing my belief and faith in the business. I have been involved in several network opportunities and have experienced the ‘Hype’ spread through the membership over a product that ends up not living up to the mind blowing accolades and wild testimonies of the leadership and many of the membership. It has been my experience that this scenario is always followed by a complete collapse of the business.
What now? The only course left to me was to try Nopalea myself, it can’t be as good as these people claim. Skeptic that I am, I knew I could not convince myself that something worked when it actually didn’t, I won’t drink the KoolAide under any circumstances, I am not able to maintain the charade. You already know what happened then.
When I spoke to my direct upline and told my story, I asked that she not repeat if just yet, I wanted to see if it lasted, how;s that for skepticism and I not even from Missouri, worse yet I’m from Jersey.
By the way it has lasted, I am a believer, and Nopalea works!

When I first started telling some of my friends and family (warm market to the networkers reading this) about Nopalea and that it was a juice, their first reaction was, not another juice. We have enough juices.
Then I started to tell them why this juice was so different and after I finished explaining, they understood.
First of all, the Nopal cactus fruit is the key ingredient in Nopalea. To date, 287 scientific papers have been published on the benefits and attributes of Nopal. These are found in the highest quality, peer-reviewed journals. These are supported by the National Institutes of Health database to insure that the conclusions are valid.
There are many superfruits available and they all contain antioxidants to help slow the aging process and fight free radicals. However, none of them have the clinical research that Opuntia Ficus Indica does on helping the body detoxify and reduce inflammation. Because science has proven inflammation is a serious cause for disease Opuntia Ficus Indica, you can see why Nopalea stands out from all the other superfruits on the market.
Nopalea is also very effective because the premium, antioxidant-rich Nopal cactus fruit that its made from is carefully harvested from the Sonoran Desert, using the same techniques the native Sonorans have been using for thousands of years. From there, the fruit is juiced to a puree and bottled in a state-of-the-art facility, which ensures quality and freshness while also preserving the antioxidants and their potency.
People have been getting results within days and that’s usually unheard of with any natural product. Most natural products you have to wait 30 to 60 days before getting results. Of course, everyone differs but I had a boating accident a few years ago and had limited movement in my arm because of inflammation, and now after taking the Nopalea for a few days, I have free range movement. Is it Nopalea? I don’t know. Seems a coincidence? Don’t know. I’ll let you know in a few days. All I know is I’m very happy with the results.
If you’re interested in finding more about Nopalea and how it can help you or if you’re interested in learning about the Share and Earn business model with the Nopalea product where you can start at $35.00 and earn $500 to $2,000 within 30 to 90 days, call me on 856-264-7802.

What does pectin have to do with TriVita’s Sonoran Bloom product line? The Sonoran Bloom product line
comes from the Prickly pear cactus which represent about a dozen species of the Opuntia genus (Family Cactaceae) in the North American deserts. There has been medical interest in the Prickly Pear plant. Some studies have shown that the pectin contained in the Prickly Pear pulp lowers levels of “bad” cholesterol while leaving “good” cholesterol levels unchanged. Another study found that the fibrous pectin in the fruit may lowers diabetics’ need for insulin. Both fruits and pads of the prickly pear cactus are rich in slowly absorbed soluble fibers that help keep blood sugar stable.
Nopalea is the first product in the Sonoran Bloom product line. The next product that TriVita will be launching will contain the pectin from the Prickly Pear plant.
Here’s some information that has been gathered on Pectin. After you read this information, I think you’ll see the power of TriVita’ Sonoran Bloom product line and the next product they’ll be releasing in October.
Pectin and Other Dietary Fiber Protects the Body from Toxins
Russian research has shown that heavy metals, such as lead and mercury, are excreted harmlessly and much more efficiently when pectin is included in the diet. Possible modes of action include a binding of the additives with the fiber, thereby preventing absorption, or perhaps the fiber prevents adverse effects through an action on the digestive process or gut bacteria.
Pectin May Be Used In The Management of Diabetes
There is growing evidence that the regular use of pectin may lessen the severity of diabetes, presumably because pectin absorbs sugars and carbohydrates, releasing them slowly in the intestinal tract. This slow release produces a much slower and steady rise in blood sugar levels. It has been suggested that fiber-depleted diets actually may precipitate diabetes mellitus. One study showed that adding pectin (and guar) to meals significantly reduced glucose and insulin levels in nondiabetic as well as non-insulin-requiring diabetic patients following meals. Insulin-requiring patients experienced a lowering of glucose levels. In a similar study, insulin-requiring diabetic patients experience a continuing effect of lowered plasma glucose when placed on a long term pectin-rich diet. These patients eventually required much less insulin.
Pectin has also been known to:
· Lower cholesterol significantly.
· Aid in the elimination of bile acids through the intestinal tract,
· short circuiting the development of gall stones and colon cancer.
With TriVita’s new product, Nopalea, that has over 100 scientific tests and is proven to reduce inflammation as well as provide other fantastic health benefits, and the launch of a new product near the end of this year containing pectin that will help people with other health issues, TriVita continues to fulfill it’s mission in providing a wellness journey and providing products that make a difference.
If you’re interested in finding more about Nopalea and how it can help you or if you’re interested in learning about the Share and Earn business model with the Nopalea product where you can start at $35.00 and earn $500 to $2,000 within 30 to 90 days, call me on 856-264-7802.

The native peoples of the Sonoran Desert are called Papago “the bean eaters” a name given them by the Spanish colonists because part of the year when desert foods were scarce, the Papagos survived on their cu
ltivated desert bean crops.
The Papago people placed high value on an ethical code, which included generosity as a foremost tenant. Living in such an extreme and harsh environment, that code also stipulated: “Be hunger enduring, cold enduring, thirst enduring.”
A Papago elder who remembers well the days of desert life said, Long time ago this was our way of life. We did not buy food. We worked hard to gather for our food. We drank the desert fruit juices in harvest time. The desert food is meant for Indians to eat. The reason so many Indians died young is because they don’t eat their desert food. I worry about what will happen to this new generation of Indians who have become accustomed to food they buy at the markets.
This wise elder Papago had good reason for his concern. According to Indian Health Services, more than half the adult population of Papago Indians now suffer from diabetes and obesity is an ever-growing concern. While the desert was a tough landlord, it gave the Papago people what they needed when they needed it.
And now you can have the sustenance and health from the desert. With Sonoran Bloom Nopalea, “These products offer true wellness benefits by helping with detoxification and reducing inflammation and multiple health benefits.
For more than 12,000 years fresh Nopal cactus has been consumed for its nutritional and healing qualities. Modern Science has only recently become interested in the properties of this ancient plant.
TriVita Chief Science Officer, Brazos Minshew said, “The new Sonoran Bloom™ product line – which includes a proprietary Opuntia liquid concentrate and Streptocantha gel – have significant health applications and benefits.” The source plants for the Sonoran Bloom™ products are considered healing food plants and were used by ancient people in the Sonora desert.
